Information for graduands: Academic Dress Hire

The Tasmanian University Union provides graduation services including the hire and sale of academic dress. Further information regarding academic dress hire for UTAS graduands at Cradle Coast, Hobart and Launceston ceremonies is available at www.tuu.com.au
Academic dress hire for AMC graduands is available through the Australian Maritime College. Details are on the AMC website at www.amc.edu.au/students/graduation

Gown	$45
Hood or stole	$25
Cap (mortar board)	$30 (This is yours to keep)
Tudor bonnet (PhD only)	$30 (This is a hire item)
Refundable deposit	$50 (Cash only)
Total cost	$150 ($100 plus a cash deposit of $50)
Credit card facilities are available Pre-payment is preferred because it will reduce waiting time on collection days Pre-payment can be made at the TUU Shop prior to collection, or you may pay on the day you collect your gown TUU Shop opening hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 4.00pm
